Julia Creek is a small town and accommodation fills up fast on race weekends — book early, or get in touch with the club for local options.
Rex Airlines services Julia Creek Airport on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from Mt Isa and Townsville. There are no hire cars at the airport, so arrange your own transport into town in advance — it's a fair distance and not one you'd want to walk in heels.
