With Julia Creek Turf Club offers a unique blend of racing excitement and rural charm, it offers a true Outback experience that sets it apart from more conventional racing venues.
Out here in the Outback, we respect the skies — and this week, the weather won. For the safety of our horses, guests, and volunteers, we’ve made the tough call to postpone the Multicom Resources Artesian Express Race Day.
Our thoughts are also with all the communities affected by recent flooding across the region — Julia Creek knows exactly how that feels, and we’re sending strength and muddy hugs your way.
But don’t hang up your hat just yet — we’re back in action on Saturday, August 30 and every bit of the excitement is sticking around:
Fashions on the Field – pre-registrations still valid (and now you’ve got extra time to perfect your look!)
The Cattleman’s Club – VIP tickets roll over, good times guaranteed
Racing, entertainment & country hospitality – it’s all coming with us!
Huge thanks to our amazing sponsors who’ve stuck with us rain, hail or shine – we’ll keep showing them love while we prep for one hell of a comeback.
Keep your boots dry, spirits high, and that outfit ready to go.
Both committees have come to a decision in postponing the event. Join us and the Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival in August.
The Race Day Program will be released in the lead-up to each event.
