The Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival joins forces with the Julia Creek Turf Club, to present the Artesian Express Race Day, a fantastic day of outback country racing for visitors to the region who can rub shoulders with locals and visitors alike. Horses from all around the North West will be competing at one of the richest race meetings in the North West Queensland in 2026.

The Julia Creek Turf Club is a small race club situated in the McKinlay Shire, in the remote and rural town of Julia Creek in Far North Western Queensland.
